Spot on! I've used these guys for a few years now, so after moving to a new house and experiencing issues with the central heating I gave them a call. Got an appointment within the week and then got a cancellation the next day. They came, identified the issues, advised, and repaired it within the day. Can't fault them 👍

Replaced a combi boiler in great time, left the area really clean and tidy and were really professional. Very happy with the results and service

No survey completed, however FULL details provided. Despite this, it was advised AFTER the work was completed that the bill was to increase by £1,000! They offered to halve this, which I begrudgingly paid as I was THREATENED with debt recovery services if i didn't! Disgusting way to carry out business. A quote is a quote, period!

First, I have to say that the lady in their office was always polite, efficient and helpful. Contact via email was easy and an appointment was made for "after 3pm" on the Friday afternoon. I still have the email. On the day, the engineer appeared slightly beforehand and appears to have decided that the boiler, rather than being repaired, should be condemned. He is, of course, allowed his no doubt educated opinion. However, rather than ring me and discuss options or indeed discuss actions with my adult daughter who was on site, he decided not only to disconnect the power (an excusable action if he felt he was ensuring safety) but also to remove the mid portion of the flue stack. The flue passed through the roof. The engineers unauthorized and ill considered actions lead to the stack seal being breached as the upper portion of the stack was now unsupported and canted over. This in turn lead to a large amount of water ingress when it rained. The water seeped into the floor, wood panelling and most worryingly into the fuse spur where power seems to have been cut off. A moment's thought would have shown removal of the stack to have been both unnecessary and ill advised. The power had been cut to the boiler and the pump didn't work anyway (this was the reason they were initially called), so why remove the mid portion of the stack? When l saw the missed call and called the engineer back I felt treated as an inconvenience and was told by him that "we knock off at three you know". That being the case, why was the appointment made for "after 3pm"? If the engineer had had anything like the interpersonal skills of the lovely office lady, the situation may have been retrievable. Sadly this was not the case. I have found an alternative provider to replace the boiler with one with a rear flue through the wall. Hopefully they will be better. Either way, I will not have these people back in the house. The owner may attempt to refute what I have said. This remains my experience of them. Once bitten, twice shy.

Shocking dangerous driving from one of their operatives, nearly caused a massive accident on the a1079 by braking on the inside lane of the dual carriageway and performing a u-turn. Still waiting for sn explanation from the director/chap in charge as reported this.

I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of service we received from James of Hall & Featherstone who carried out the yearly service on our Oil Boiler. He went the extra mile to ensure that it was working properly and his pleasant and cheerful manner was a credit to the firm.

We've just had a brilliant experience with this team and can't recommend them enough. They fitted a brand new boiler and new hot water tank to a very high standard, changing 37 year old piping in the process. The plumbers were friendly, respectful, efficient and very neat. They are a busy firm but very well worth the wait. We've used them for other jobs in our home too and won't hesitate to use them again. Thanks.

Very disappointing. We had a lovely job done by them last year so I hoped to have my boiler service completed by them as I had received such good service previously. This time my experience was completely different. My phone rang and the person who had come to service the boiler was outside my house at 8.30am. He was supposed to be there between 9.00am and 10.00am. I told him where I was and that I was going to be between 5 and 10 minutes. I arrived 8 minutes later to find he had gone even though I had checked with him that he would be able to wait. Having spoken to the office they gave me the impression he was in Market Weighton and would come to me now. 20 minutes later I rang them and he was in the middle of a job but apparently the engineer had told them I wouldn't be in until 9.00 am. I now don't trust them and they won't be coming here to service my boiler or indeed to carry out any other work. Don't use, unless you want to be messed about.

I have used their services several times and always been pleased with the prompt and efficient service. The last time I called them, there was a problem afterwards with a leak, only a very small leak that neither I or the plumber noticed but it did result in property damage. I contacted the company and the issue was resolved to my complete satisfaction. Yes I would use them again and do recommend them. They are good company.
